IBLP = Industry Based Learning Program

Industry based learning Program (IBLP) units encourage a hands-on approach to learning and allows you to apply generic employability skills and capabilities in the area that you are majoring in.

IBLP Means that students or working class people are given a flexibility in which students can also gain valuable hands-on experience as part of their studies by working in the industry they're interested in.


There are different names attached to the kind of work experience programs you can do while you're at Learning:

  • Work placement
  • Work experience
  • Internship

IBLP gives you the chance to learn firsthand what it's like to work in your chosen field and industry IBLP Program reflects the outstanding quality of the students coming out of our program, and its ability to prepare our students for careers in business and industry.

IBLP Programs increase Opportunities include in Private / Corporate / MNC sector, small to large companies and local and international companies.


IBLP program aims to:

  • Assist in the development of generic skills and, in particular, develop the key competencies of a lifelong learner
  • Critically appraise and demonstrate development of discipline specific knowledge, skills and dispositions required for future professional pathways
  • Gain credit towards your course
  • Develop your professional work practices and networks

IIITBM provides students with an opportunity to undertake work in an organizational environment in their field of academic study. Which will contribute to the overall goals of the organization.


The learning goals associated with IIITBM are to:

  • apply conceptual and theoretical knowledge to practical work situations
  • communicate effectively and appropriately with peers and superiors both verbally and in writing
  • Undertake applied research projects in the areas of accounting, economics, management, marketing, or any area of business.
