ECS = Experience Credit Scheme

Experience Credit Scheme is calculated on the basis of previous work experience in which student can opt for any particular course in the mid of the session depending on its work experience in that particular field. For Example if a student want to opt for MBA in Logistics Program in the mid of session and if that students has more than 2 years of work experience in logistics field. That student can enroll in that mid-session as per his work experience. Experience Credit Scheme does not mean that student can gain credit Points for prior work experience in that particular program.

Student chapter also arrange practical & submission of Project Report through IIITBM approved institutes [Engineering College/Polytechnic/University] as per direction of IIITBM.


REQUIREMENTS OF EXPERIENCE CREDIT SCHEME:

  • The work experience must have been gained with an authorized employer.
  • The work experience includes a minimum of 730 days of practical work experience.
  • The work experience must be gained within 3 months prior to registration for any course.
  • The experience must be relevant, of a technical nature, properly supervised and performed satisfactorily.
  • The student must have satisfied the minimum academic requirements to enter a training agreement.
  • The student was not employed on a casual basis.

If any students wants to apply for credit for prior work experience, it should be done at the time of registering for that particular program. The Work Experience programme.
