Industrial Training refers to a program which aims to provide supervised practical training within a specified timeframe. Industrial training is related to work experience that is relevant to professional development prior to the graduation. In Industrial training students join the company which is relevant to their in trust and subject and they completed their training in particular time frame i.e. 6 months, 3 months etc. Main objective of industrial training is to provides the work experience to student in particular field, and to provide a certificate for future perspective. In classroom students only learn theory and they don’t know about practical terms. So in industrial training students and trainer also focus on practical terms.
Industrial training and internship are two closely related activities that some technical students and students having a particular project related to a field in industry are offered. Internship carry some stipend but normally industrial training is a regular feature in curriculum of a course.
The main objective of the Industrial Training program is to produce skillful graduates who are ready to face the working world. The program also aims to produce the knowledgeable, skilled and experienced graduates, demanded by employers, who are able to apply the knowledge acquired at institution to the working world. The Industrial Training program provides opportunities for exposure to the working world, which will make graduates more aware of the hopes and expectations that industry has of them. The program will also equip students with real work experience.
